iSource Team was working for a long time to become a consultant of EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development). From November 2014, we have that honor to be a part of the EBRD consultant’s team.

The EBRD provides support for small businesses through access to business counseling with financial support of multiple donors, which besides EBRD include: the European Union, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Central European Initiative, Portugal, Norway, Luxembourg and other bilateral agreements. iSource Team is always open for cooperation with the small businesses of Macedonia.

Europe’s largest tech conference – Web Summit 2014 took place in Dublin Nov. 4-6 and was attended by over 20,000 people. The iSource team attended the Web Summit and they made a lot of contacts, new friends and acquaintances during it. We presented our skills and the portfolio of our recent projects.  We’re still in that euphoria!

In just three years, it managed to become from just one of many conferences, to “the” event to attend in Europe. The numbers are staggering: 22,000 attendees from 109 countries, 614 speakers, 2,160 start-ups, 1,324 journalists and 2,200 staff. And the Dublin conference is just the beginning: the same guys behind the Summit launched in 2013 the Collision conference in Las Vegas, and they will launch next year the Sync Conference in Asia . It sure does help that in Ireland they have the full support of the government and the fact that almost all the European headquarters of the main Internet companies are based there is another atout, but I do think that they could replicate, at least in part, also elsewhere the success they had.

During the “Crossroads of Commerce in South-Eastern Europe’ Conference organized by Macedonia 2025, in Toronto, Canada on October 24^th, a Macedonian business delegation also met with a number of Canadian companies from October 26 – 31.

The group of Macedonian executives, entrepreneurs and representatives of the business sector visited several highly successful companies and their senior executives including Deloitte Consulting, Corus Entertainment, KCI Medical, Summer Fresh Foods, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, Colour Innovations Printing, George Brown College – Centre for Business. The Turkish Canadian Chamber of Commerce also organized a networking reception with their members, which was attended by Minister for Foreign Investments, Jerry Naumoff.

The iSource team participated on Webit! The 6th Global Webit Congress started on 01 October and ended on 02 October 2014. It took place in Istanbul, Turkey as well as CeBit. It was a big challenge for us!

WEBIT 2014, 6th Global Webit Congress is among one of the most major event on Web Technologies, Internet, Digital, Software, Computing, Mobile, Online Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Advertising, Social Media, E-Commerce and Digital Media segments. Located right on the Bosphorus, it includes a variety that is hard to find at similar events in Europe. In two days more than 70 startups showcased their projects in a dedicated networking section, while two parallel tracks on Digital Marketing and Leaders of the Future took place in the main conference rooms.
