On May 21-22, Sofia, Bulgaria was the host of its biggest entrepreneurial event to date. The iSource team attended to this event, CEEDS 2015 conference, which was organized by Webit. Our team represented themselves as a team which offers quality software development solutions and support, such as websites, applications on every platform, games, online marketing strategies, CAD and other services.

During the first day, there seems to be a stronger interest for the Marketing and Innovation talks. CEEDS 2015 is also hosting a StartUp Expo & Founders’ Pitch Stage, plus plenty of networking opportunities for attending startups to get in touch with investors.

iSource is a member of MASIT! This April, 2015, the iSource team became a part of Macedonian Chamber of Information and Communication Technologies.

MASIT is Chamber of Commerce for all private companies that work in the ICT sector in Macedonia, but also ICT Experts (individuals). Today, this organization is the voice of the Macedonian ICT industry. The chamber represents companies of the ICT sector in Macedonia including: software and IT services companies, hardware companies and distributors, carrier and other telecom companies, as well as training providers and ICT consulting companies.

The biggest international digital games development event “Global Game Jam” took place 23-25 January 2015 in Macedonia. This is the biggest international event for development of digital games. It is held annually and simultaneously at numerous locations worldwide and it lasts for up to 48 hours.

“Global Game Jam” is organized by Macedonian Game Developers Association (MAGDA). As part of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), it aims to unite all game developers and to boost cooperation, creativity and experimenting.

The new faculty – FICT (Faculty of Information and Communications Technology) and iSource signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The meeting was organized in the premises of the faculty on 27.11.2014. The cooperation is based on exchange of experiences and knowledge, encouraging and deepening the educational, practical, scientific and technical cooperation in the field of information science and computer engineering.

The purpose of the Memorandum is formalizing the cooperation between the FICT faculty and iSource for professional and scientific projects of interest to both sides, mutual participation in workshops, professional and academic meetings, implementation of internship program for students, presentation of practical experiences, as well as promoting educational, research and applied activities in the field of Information Sciences and computer engineering by signatories.
